Certitudo Capital acquires 36 units in Shopping Mall WoensXL; the Netherland’s largest shopping mall outside the Randstad region, situated in the densely populated district Woensel-North in Eindhoven.
The purchase includes over 16,000 sqm GFA and is centrally located at the southern side of the mall. Amongst the tenants are H&M, Hunkemöller, Van Haren, ANWB, Douglas, Etos and Bakker Bart.
Shopping Mall WoensXL dates from 1971, has been renovated in 2006 and has since grown into a key district shopping mall boasting over 140 units. Supermarkets (for example Jumbo and Albert Heijn), furniture stores, fashion stores and restaurants make for a diverse and complementary range of shops.
Certitudo Capital buys the properties from Urban Interest, amongst others. Therewith, Certitudo Capital owns the larger part of the shopping centre.
Funder Rax Finance about the transaction: “We offer funding opportunities for all asset classes, including retail investments, provided there is a proper business plan. We completely trust Certitudo Capital and their proposed business plan, making this financing a nice extension of our loan portfolio.”
Van Doorne provided Rax Finance with legal advice. Simmons&Simmons executed the transaction.
