CERTITUDO CAPITAL SELLS OFFICE BUILDING AT HESSENBERGWEG 95 TO THE MUNICIPALITY OF AMSTERDAM

‘S-HERTOGENBOSCH, 21 MARCH 2023 | Certitudo Capital has sold an office building of approx. 2,500 sqm and 63 parking places at Hessenbergweg 95 to the Municipality of Amsterdam. Certitudo Capital and the Municipality of Amsterdam have agreed on the sale as part of a strategic partnership for the area transformation of Amstel III.

The Municipality of Amsterdam intends to build an educational institution for the residents of the new Amstel III urban district in the future at the location where LeaseWeb is now located. This area between the Johan Cruijff Arena and the AMC is currently being transformed from an office location into a lively city district. Amsterdam’s housing challenge is very large and until 2040, 30,000 homes will be added in Amsterdam Zuidoost, of which 5,000 homes will be located in Amstel III. Certitudo Capital has an important position in the development of Amstel III, where they will develop a total of 1,600 homes, 28,000 sqm of office space and 6,000 sqm of facilities. As a central meeting place in the new city district, the current Hondsrugweg will be transformed into the Hondsrugpark: a city park the size of 7 football fields
