Construction Company Moonen restarts with Certitudo Capital

Construction Group Moonen has reached agreement with Certitudo Capital concerning a restart of the company in ’s-Hertogenbosch. This restart provides an assurance for the completion of ten projects that are not guaranteed under the terms of the Woningborg Garantie.

Construction Group Moonen became bankrupt on 4 April 2018 after the court had granted a provisional suspension of payment one week previously.  Over a hundred people work at the construction company, at least 35 of whom will be included in the new structure. Furthermore, the board of directors, consisting of Sander Martens and Joep Moonen, will be employed for the operational management of the business.

Certitudo plans to create a high-quality construction company with this labour force and with the existing projects. "As an organisation, we stand behind the quality provided by construction company Moonen, and in this way we can also partially safeguard the construction of our large-scale projects,’’ states a spokesperson from Certitudo.
